Parian Figural Putti Vase. Recumbent figure of a putti holding a cluster of cattails in its arms, the other arm holds a long staff; the figure is lying on top of a large conch shell with the mouth of the shell open upwards forming a vase. Has an English registration mark on the back dating it to 1872. Has a chip to the top edge of the shell inside the rim and the staff that the figure holds is missing. 7.25 in. high x 9 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
