B.A. Bremond Inlaid Cylinder Musical Mandoline Organcleide Bell Box. Rosewood box has inlaid borders, ebonized panel on the lid with flowers, filigree and a scroll. The front panel has flowers, filigree and a scroll with musical instruments, ebonized edges and brass handles on the sides. The reverse of the lid has the tune card signed B.A. Bremond and lists the 10 tunes (airs); the spring driven mechanism has an internal ratchet crank with lever on the left side, glass paneled dust cover over the movement. 3 pc. silvered comb plays from a 21.5 in. long cylinder with a gilt finish with 6 of the teeth designated for the nest of 6 steel bells; the bells have a silvered finish and are set on a horizontal cross post with lyre shaped bracket in the center under a decoratively engraved bell and gilt eagle finial, signed B.A. Bremond, Geneva, the governor bracket is also stamped BAB. Box is in very good working condition with no broken teeth and has very good sound, case has a wonderful clean original finish. 13 in. high x 36 in. wide x 16 in. deep.
