Columbia Type BC Graphophone Phonograph. Large size oak case with turned half columns on the chamfered corners, inset panels with ‘The Columbia Graphophone” banner decal on the hinged front panel, hinged brass handles on the sides and a domed lid with turned columns on the corners. Nickel plated base plate with black painted chassis having gilt letters and stenciling with red flowers and filigree, some flaking to the black paint. Large mechanically amplified reproducer, 4 in. dia., No. 9366. The 6 in. long mandrel plays “20th Century Premier” style 3 minute cylinder records, has a 3 spring motor and is in running condition. The massive brass horn measures 57 in. long x 24 in. dia. and stands on a tripod crane. Case measures 18 in. high x 19.5 in. wide x 14 in. deep.
