Chicago Coin’s Band Box Juke Box Orchestra Speaker Deluxe Model 1951. The box resembles a curved front stage with glimmering curtain, when the jukebox is turned on to play, the curtain opens and the animated band begins to play; the figures are formed in a soft foam with painted suits and faces, there is a piano player, drummer, upright bass player, violinist & 3 pc. brass horn section, the figures bounce up and down or rock back and forth to imitate the playing motions. The front row figures each has a light-up podium in front of them and the scene has a tropical moonlit background. has nickel silver trim with reverse lighting behind 2 curved red plastic panels, the top reads “Chicago Coin’s, Band~Box”, the lower banner reads “Strike Up The Band”. In good working condition. Signed on a metal tag on the back, Band Box, Model 50-100 and serial number 2203. 29 in. high x 46 in. wide x 23.5 in. deep.
