| POMEROY MODEL 1816 TYPE III, 69 CAL PERCUSSION RIFLE. Converted to percussion by L. Pomeroy. 42" barrel is 69 caliber and finished bright. Lock is marked L. Pomeroy under an American eagle and 1832 over US behind hammer. Wood stock is very good with cartouche at top of stock near butt-plate and small sliver missing from left side of top tang. Barrel is stamped N.J. on flat of left side breech and H & P 1861 on top of the tang. Estimate |
