Lot 660 6 BARREL PEPPER BOX.
Frame and nipple shield are scroll engraved. 3.5"barrels are marked ALLEN & THURBER, WORCESTER. Bar hammer is marked ALLENS PATENT 1845. Metal is brown with a small amount of surface rust and pitting. Bag type wood grips in good condition.

Lot 661 50 CALIBER PERCUSSION SMITH CARBINE.
21 5/8" round barrel with very good bore. Left side of frame is marked "Manufactured by Mass. Arms Co. Chicopee Falls" in 3 lines and "Address Poultney & Trimble Baltimore USA" in 3 lines SN 15096. Barrel is mostly blue with scattered surface rust and pitting. Frame is mix of silver and brown. Wood stocks are very good with usual nicks and dents. Hammer is a replacement
and is much brighter than the receiver, nipple is a newer replacement.

Lot 663 U.S. ARTILLERY DRIVERS SADDLE W/ SHIELD DECORATION.
Has McClellan type seat. Comes with 12"H x 16"H leg guards and wood stirrups covered with leather. Leather is crackled from age and could use a cleaning and treatment.
A nice antique saddle.

Lot 664 THOMAS NAST. THOMAS NAST O/C GEN JAMES B. McPHERSON. Circa 1860’s. Thomas Nast painted this black and white portrait from a photograph taken by Mathew Brandy. The image has Gen. McPherson in full uniform, seated and looking to his right. Has 4 very small holes in the left side of the artist paper. 8.5"W x 6.5"H.

Lot 665 REMINGTON NEW MODEL POLICE REVOLVER.
36 caliber 5 shot revolver with 4.5" octagon barrel
marked "Patented Sept. 14, 1858 E. Remington & Sons, Illion., New York., USA". New Model in three lines. This model is supposed to have two patent
dates but this pistol has just one. Most of the metal is gray with patches of blue in protected areas.
Hammer has lots of case color, grips are excellent
with a fair amount of figure. Nice example.

Lot 666 REMINGTON 43 CALIBER ROLLING BLOCK MILITARY RIFLE.
35" Barrel with bright shiny bore. Metal is mostly brown and wood stocks are in good condition with normal dents and dings, inspectors cartouche and serial number stamped on butt-stock. Top of barrel is stamped Eastover.

In need of restoration. Missing front band, trigger guard, ramrod
and inlay at front of trigger. 54 caliber with 8.5" barrel. Wood stock needs some help. A good winter project.

Marked Rock Island Armory. Both are in good shape with good leather straps. One is stamped 044 with some other faint markings above " CAV". We believe these are very early 20th century.

Lot 669 DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION MUZZLE LOADER PISTOL.
Coach gun with 7.5" rifled Damascus barrels that are 55 caliber. Mountings are gold plated & engraved, locks and hammers are scroll engraved. Wood stock is excellent with well executed checkering. Metal has been re-finished. An unmarked high quality gun.
