FRANK WESSON MILITARY .44 CALIBER CARBINE RIMFIRE. Two trigger with 24" barrel is marked B. Kittredge & Co. Cincinnati, O. and has a fine bore. Many of these military carbines were issued to state units in Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas and Missouri. Barrel and frame is a mixture of blue and brown. Stock is in nice shape with usual light dings. Rear sight is flip up type and is marked 250 yds. and 500 yds. Very nice example. Estimate $1,200 - 1,500.

HALF STOCK KENTUCKY STYLE PERCUSSION RIFLE. 33.25" barrel is 52 caliber and is marked M. Smith on top flat and US on left flat near breech. Lock is lightly engraved and marked C. Lander. Tiger maple stock has dark finish and a separate infill of wood from forend cap to end of muzzle. Ramrod ferrules are attached to this underlug of wood. There is an empty dovetail at bottom of the barrel, 1.5" from muzzle that is covered by this lug. Stock has small cheekpiece with two grooves and a nice patchbox. Buttplate, trigger guard, sideplate and ferrules are all brass. Estimate $800 - 1,200.

10 PAGE LEATHER BOUND CARTE DE VISITE CIVIL WAR ALBUM. Hardcover leather bound album with soft leather latch, the album pages are cardstock with gilt edges and borders around the images. Each of the 10 pages have typical Carte de Visite photographs (12 total) including portraits of many identified Civil War soldiers and some family members. Binding is tight, light wear to highpoints, spine has some separation and the leather latch has some loss. 3.5"W x 5"H. Estimate $800 - 1,200.

LOT OF FOUR SCABBARDS. First is for a foot soldier’s sword, it’s 33.5" long and has one small ring. Second is a metal bayonet scabbard with rounded tip - 21" long. Third is a brass and leather unit 27" long. Leather is wrapped with old electrical tape. Last is an unusual leather scabbard that looks like it had a cavalry saber. It’s 34" long and has two loops with D-rings, one of which has a brass chain. Estimate $200 - 400.
